Fellowship Groups exist to facilitate relationships within the church. (Eph. 4:11-13, 16) To do this, we cultivate spiritual fellowship together by means of prayer, scripture and interpersonal reflection. Our goal for these groups is to encourage one another to discover what it means to be a follower of Christ, and increase in a steadfast faith that works by love.

Each group is led by a facilitator that hosts the meeting. The facilitator’s primary role is to assist the group by encouraging participation and discussion in keeping with the subject matter, and closing the meeting according to schedule. This is not a teaching role, but one that helps keep the overall purpose in view.

We ask each group to meet a minimum of once a month. This meeting may be done at the facilitator’s home or a location agreed upon by the group. We suggest the following activities for each group to decide what to do:

  • Have a time of prayer together

  • Study a book on Christian Living (Currently, “Gentle and Lowly” by Dane Ortlund)

  • Review, examine, and apply Sunday’s sermon

  • Have an inductive study on a book of the Bible
